Today's couple knew it was something they desired to do immediately of their planning, so chose a backyard ceremony where their dogs might be included, then a marquee reception on the family farm, using the Bride's horse and sweet Shetland ponies as a part of the fun.
They held their outdoor ceremony within the idyllic rural setting of The Cotswolds, before making their method to Vicki's family farm in The Camp, Stroud for his or her beautiful reception, with marquee hire from none other than Vicki's family's business.
From Cheltenham, Vicki decided on a wonderful dress; sleeveless having a simple v-neck and back and having a full skirt. The fabric from the dress was an ideal floral damask having a lovely contemporary feel, there was also a glittering embellished belt tied having a satin ribbon.
"I wanted a dress using the wow factor so that as soon as I saw the material on my dress I loved how unique it had been! I needed to be able to move during my dress. I had photos with my horse in the field, sitting down using the Shetlands who was in the reception, and ventured into the long grass within the field to find the most amazing photos at sunset."
Together together with her Dad, David, Vicki walked on the aisle to Adele's Make You Feel My Love, performed live by. Dan was there waiting, wearing a good and classic morning suit in deep blue, by having an ivory waistcoat, and a red tie.
"Dan decided to wear tails because he doesn't dress up inside a suit often and liked the standard tails. He wore a set of cufflinks, that have been a christening present from his godparents in 1992!"
"We met last year through a mutual friend at sixth form. Dan eventually proposed after 20 years in April 2018, in Cape Cornwall, our favorite place. We then got married in September 2019. We didn't wish to rush the marriage as we desired to make sure we're able to use all our first choice suppliers, and we desired to be in a position to enjoy the planning stage."
The bridesmaids' dresses were pleated chiffon halterneck burgundy bridesmaid dresses.
Vicki and Dan first discovered their photographer when she photographed a Bisley Marquees wedding in 2018. They loved her work once they saw it, and knew she would function as the perfect person to capture their day.
"We love her photography style and Siobhan like a person! She fitted in perfectly around the day and was always there at the right time to capture all of the moments you desired. We got our photos back so quickly, we'd recommend."
The couple's reception marquee was the most wonderful, light, and airy, highly personalized space, using its veranda along with a separate space for that gin bar, and also the lining even was built with a lovely subtle print into it, too.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Do what you look for, not something to help keep others happy. A wedding day is exclusive and doesn't need to be a traditional setup. Prioritize what's important for you and make certain this is part of your budget first."
