A Wyresdale Park Wedding

This gorgeous wedding is filled with all the relaxed and lovely pre-pandemic vibes we would like you to keep feeling hopeful for.

Teacher married Plumber, on 11th September 2019 at. The couple, who went to live in Australia in 2016 and did all their wedding planning after that, drew huge inspiration from Pinterest, wildflowers, and boho weddings. They desired to pepper their big day with plenty of thoughtful, personal touches.

"Adam and I met whilst I was at University in Leeds, he lived in York. We met in 2014 and located we were built with a mutual fascination with adventure."

"We emigrated to Australia in 2016 and during a visit back to visit friends and family in 2018, Adam planned a surprise proposal at Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire. We planned the marriage from Australia and also got married in 2019."

Sophie wore probably the most elegant and flattering boho wedding dress by the designer.

"I got my dress in the feel times online store. I found this shop after trying to find boho wedding brands. I was attracted to the boho look and wanted something a little different from some traditional white gown. A nonnegotiable for me personally was using a dress I was comfortable enough to bop in for hours on end! Sure enough, it did the task and I didn't stop dancing before the very early hours."

Sophie accessorized her beautiful dress having a cathedral-length veil.

Sophie's father accompanied her on the aisle, towards the sound from the Kina Grannis cover of 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You'.

"We had Adam's nephew read a passage of Dr. Suess's 'Oh the places you go'. We wanted something upbeat and fun for everyone within the room, he did an excellent job."

"We'd choose Eleanor and Nathan to capture our wedding millions of times over. They are a couple of duos, Nathan may be the photographer and Eleanor shoots film."

"They are extremely talented, right down to earth and we'd have so much fun with them around the day! I think the images and film speak on their own."

"We also installed a 'camera which turned out to be a massive hit! It came yesterday in a briefcase and it had been really easy to set up and simple for guests in the future and go taking multiple selfies at night time (actually there was always someone there!), then we downloaded them your day after and sent your camera back."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"We never had an authentic budget as we'd no idea just how much weddings cost. We just attempted to research every decision, plan carefully, and save where we were able to. Try not to overload with things – it's simple to get caught up."
