I'm in agreement with your thoughts. I had a lot of fun playing the game for the first time I didn't even read one single book and was completely immersed. This is completely possible to accomplish and you'll have plenty of buy OSRS Gold fun playing the low levels and early quests.

The game then forces you to grind really stupid skills in one place for HOURS. And this community normalizes and even praises the practice. Certain people really enjoy watching the "AFK" element of watching TV when playing games with half their attention. Personally, I hate playing in this manner.

As you do, it totally affects my experience of the game , and also the fact that I'm trying to play a "role-playing games". It's true that I thought RS was meant to be an MMO. However, it's not.

Let me be clear, even though I hated it and it ruined my experience, I cut the game and accepted the fact that you need to master AFK to meet all the requirements to unlock every quest. I did this because I am a huge fan of the quests of this game, but ugh it was a huge amount of hours. STUPID. I'm amazed that people are able to level up their skills to 99. I'm at 70 base but only have 99s for all combat skills, and farming. Farming is my favorite ability that you can play. The other skills are absolutely terrible.

But the quests, are incredible. However, one of the most important games' quests, Song of the Elves generally requires a basic 70s. Huge grind and commitment. I'd at least try to get the ability to complete Sins of the Father. One of my top quests in the game , and it's requirements aren't as difficult. 50 slayer, 56 crafting 60 fletchings and 62 woodcutting are among the most demanding required for this quest.

I hear you from the Slayer. I'M unable to stand SLAYER. I'm not sure why PEOPLE enjoy it. It's so boring. I am an experienced level 70 slayer, with the highest combat abilities. I scored 99 attacks as well as strength, defense and hitpoints while killing ammonite crabs 100% AFK when I worked my job.

Let me say that it was worth it. I really enjoy the bossing part of this game. If you haven't tried the caves for fights to gain the fire cape, then you must do it prior to deciding whether you'd rather quit the game. There is really fun mid-level bossing similar to gauntlet. However, it also requires an elven song that is completed. This will give you a base 70s. The most impressive bossing is raids (chamber of xeric) and inferno , but they are so late game that you require top combat stats. You can get away with doing away with the majority of "skilling" abilities by doing bossing in order to earn cash or other items you'll need.

Anyways. I'm sorry that it's tough to play OSRS with any level of immersion because of how difficult it was to master the skills. I guess apparently in the moment the game was created, the creators never expected players to actually achieve impressive stats or achieve the level of a 99. The game hasn't been fixed or reworked since.

I seriously think that OSRS needs the introduction of an "easy" or "beginner" mode on a special isolated server which is distinct from main gameplay, where learning happens at a 100x rate of the current rate. It's enjoyable to play and fully immerse yourself into. According to the source, there's the game mode that is temporary, dubbed "leagues" which comes with a slightly increased XP rate however it's too low for me and it's not even in cheap Runescape gold existence right currently, and I believe it will only last for a month or two and then is gone until next "season".
