After GGG released a teaser video for the Siege of the Atlas expansion on January 21, 2022, they have now released a little preview of the league. Now this has awakened the contemplative nature of many players, and they can Buy Exalted Orbs as a preparation.
The new league in the Siege of the Atlas update is called Archnemesis. Now the community wants to know what this means for Path of Exile. Because for the first time, the name of the previous league is included in the league name. After all, Nemesis League has been around since 2013, and its mechanics can still be found in games today. The coveted “Chase Item” Headhunter also came out of this league and is still sought after by many players. Players are full of interest, and their desire to buy POE Currency is gradually aroused.
As such, Archnemesis could be the first sequel to The League, and GGG has tackled the concept. In Nemesis, monsters can be spawned using so-called Nemesis mods, which give them additional rewards, including POE Currency and gear. But it also goes back to the early days of Path of Exile. Some players are now even considering whether Archnemesis will become a specific enemy we often encounter, and get new mods.
Path of Exile always has major content updates every three months, keeping Grinding Gear Games’ action RPG fresh. These patches bring their own mechanics, rewards, and balance to special leagues. The current Scourge league is ending and will soon be replaced by a new one with patch 3.17.0. Players may wish to spend POE Currency to adapt to the new mechanism faster.
So far, GGG hasn’t revealed exactly why the mechanics aren’t good enough to “go to the core.” So if players like Scourge’s special mechanics, they can grab the last time to POE Currency Buy at POECurrency to enjoy it one last time.
