Hey guys, I am new to this forum but I'm not new in runescape. I have not been playing in over a week since I've been extremely distracted by other activities. However, tonight when I tried to log into it said that I had been banned. I check it out and it tells me I'm banned from making use of macros. It also says that gold farming is not allowed. But the issue is that I've never ever botted, which not only makes it useless but also damages the economy of the game. I only do woodcutting because I'm planning to do 99 cuts of wood. I'm wondering if they think I'm a bot.

However, that's a an absolute lie, I should not be in danger of getting banned because I choose to do one skill and yeah, I do not respond to everyone, because I have my chat area as small as it will go and I watch netflix or do other things and just glance at the trees before heading to the bank once my inventorys full.

I am in a state of panic. I have spent too much time on this game to be banned for such absurdity. I am also in fear my account has been compromised or something, but it is not likely. I've made an appeal. How long does it take to get a response? And what happens if they decide to ban me?

I have not done anything in this game that would be considered to be bad, and I am now banned. Not only did they not ban me, they did so without any proof whatsoever.
