It's disappointing to see all the armors that Burning Crusade Classic Gold are merely recolored. You could easily place an intern in there and they'd be fine. Recolors must at all times be a slider option that players have access too..

I was unsure that a recolour is an reskin too. I've always believed that reskins could have the same animations, just distinct looks, while a recolour can be, a color change.

It's true that LFR, normal and heroic are all the same set , with color changes however it's only the mythic set (and some pieces at that) which is different.

Reskin skin employs the same skeleton however it layers on a different layer. If the skin's adjustments aren't excessively severe, they could be the same as recolors. They may also include additional bits and bobs.

The Iron Skyreaver is a normal rylak mount skeleton but adds some (extremely loud) jet thrusters to its wings and armor pieces. This is an reconfigure.

Recolor is the name given to the difference between the Black Drake mount (10 Sarth) or the Bronze Drake mount (10 CoS). The model and the skin are the same, except for the color. Experiment 12B is a recoloring of the base drake mount.

While technically Wind Steed is an Horseman's Steed reskin but the designers put enough effort into it to make it appear and feel distinct. The Legion Paladin Charger is much closer to the Horseman's Steed that it feels very similar to it, though still different enough to warrant more than just a recolor.

What do you mean by fel armaments or arcane tomes? I left shadowlands and bfa in the first month. However, I do not recall buying exalted rep in either classic or tbc.

The distance from say... Shatt to Auchindoun is likely to be less than Kargath to Blackrock Mountain. It wouldn't be so bad I'd think. The only thing they'd have to do is erase or completely revamp those areas with no flying. Teleporter could be turned up or down, but not always.
