As we get closer to a possible gameplay trailer for NBA 2K22, the ratings for the game are being revealed. So far, no one has broken the 96 OVR barrier, but Lebron James has not been revealed. The top five WNBA players in the game, as well as the best 3-point shooters in NBA 2K22 MT, will also be discussed. When Will NBA 2K22 Be Released?
The official release date for NBA 2K22 is Friday, September 10, 2021. While many fans had hoped that Early Access would be available to those who pre-ordered a Special Edition of NBA 2K22, this will not be the case. There were also hopes for an NBA 2K22 demo, but it appears that will not be happening this year as well. It appears that fans will have to wait until the game's official release date before they can begin playing, but at the very least, everyone will be on the same court at the same time.
Covers and Limited Editions for NBA 2K22
The countdown to NBA 2K22 has officially begun, with five stunning covers for the game having been revealed. This year, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks graces the covers of both the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundles, but that's only the beginning of his involvement with the franchise. The cover of the NBA 2K22 75th Anniversary Edition will feature legends Dirk Nowitzki and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as current NBA veteran Kevin Durant, to commemorate the league's founding.
Meanwhile, Candace Parker, WNBA legend and Chicago Sky's own, will appear on the cover of a special Standard Edition that will be sold exclusively in North America through GameStop, and Rui Hachimura will appear on a regional Standard Edition that will be sold in Japan.
